Rams will be tucked away up in Wisconsin for training camp this year. I beelieve this can be a positive move, though it means I won't be seeing any of the camp. Made it every year they held it in Macomb, but Wisconsin's a pretty fair drive when weather and last minute coaching staff changes can cancel what you went all that way to see.
I think its a good move because I think the heat will be noticeably less brutal up there, and they will have other teams nearby to scrimmage/practice with. They'll have to deal with the heat early in the season, but I think the sauna like conditions in St Louis and Macomb actually took too much out of players in most years instead of preparing them for those conditions. Having other teams training nearby is a huge plus in my opinion, and will benefit far more than any heat conditioning could do.

Al Saunders
I agree with some posts and articles I've seen saying that this is one of our key off-season acquisitions. He is an excellent 'X's and 'O's guy and is a very enthusiastic person who communicates well with players.
I'd never heard of the guy when I saw him at training camp in Macomb in '99. He caught my attention as a receivers coach when I saw him running down the field alongside a receiver running a route in drills yelling encouragement along the lines of "That's the way we want to see routes ran! Way to go!" I'm thinking (who is this guy), and of course have heard a lot about him since in St Louis and KC.
Linehan should leave him alone with the offense and do some head coach overseeing.
I see a powerful offense coming in 08.
